Taken charge as Director Centre for Shastri Indo Canadian Institute, Pondicherry from June 2005 continuing as Director of the centre. Having five years of experience in all the programmes organized in Shastri Indo Canadian Institute.

1. National Seminar on Telling Lives in India and Canada: History and Auto – Biography in India and Canada on 20th – 22nd March 2006.
2. National Seminar on Teaching Canadian Studies: Pedagogy and Curriculum for the New Millennium on 5th – 7th February 2007.
3. “Sustainable Development of Aboriginal in Canada and India" on 6th and 8th February 2008.
MOU with Dalhousie University
Developed an MOU with Pondicherry University and Dalhousie University on 14th May 2009 to exchange Academic ideology on teaching and Research activities and working as coordinator for the MOU.

Visits to Canada
1. Visited Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada during August – September 2008 under faculty improvement Programme to learn the recent trends in research methods and to establish an MOU.
2. Visited Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada during May – June 2009 under Sastri Indo-Canadian Academic Exchange Programme to teach summer course entitled “The Indian Anthropology”.
3. Visited Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada during May – June 2010 under Sastri Indo-Canadian Academic Exchange Programme to teach the summer course 2010on “Indian society and Culture”.
4. Visited to Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada during May-June 2011 under Sastri Indo-Canadian Academic Exchange Programme to do research field work on the MicMacq Aborigines of Canada and presented a lecture on “The culture of Indian Aborigines” to the students of Sociology and Anthropology.
